Well, almost completely – just a couple of finishing touches here and there. The countertops went in yesterday and the appliances were installed today. The plumbers were also here to do their thing. VERY excited!
We chose two different kinds of granite – one for the black pieces and another for the brownish pieces. These pictures show the detail a little bit.
View from the next landing on the stairs.
1/2 bath vanity (mostly finished)
Kids vanity
Master bath vanity – the faucets we chose don’t fit properly, so we have to replace them.
And … we still have quite a bit of work to do. Here’s a peek at what’s going on upstairs. Master bedroom still needs painted. Hadden’s room (blue) is ready for flooring. Savannah’s room (purple) is 2/3 covered in flooring. Tomorrow, her floor will likely be completed.
Yahoo! Wow...things are looking great! I am going to have to share this with my parent's since they are in the remodeling phase... :) It looks beautiful, Shirley!
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen looks fantastic, Shirley. I'm curious as to whether the cooktop is electric, or induction?
ReplyDeleteOh, and one more thing.
I "almost" chose black appliances too. But everyone convinced me to go with stainless steel. I must say, though, that the black is simply stunning! I love it.
Oh well... maybe my next house. :-)
Wow, Shirley, it looks awesome!! I bet you just can't believe it's your house!!
ReplyDeleteI love the diagonal flooring in Savannah's room!! Everything is so cute!
Hi Shirley.....What a beauty of a home! I am so happy for you all! You have worked so hard and so long to finally come to the finished product! Your kitchen is gorgeous. I am glad you like color, too. We are thinking of having tile floors in our big bathroom. I see you have tile on some floors. Let us know how you like it. God bless your home!
ReplyDeleteLooks AWESOME Shirley! I really love all the bright colors you chose :)
