I hate this post ...

I haven't even written it and I hate it.

Two days ago, little Annie was ran over by our neighbor. He was not to blame - she ran in front of him.

So, we are now back to two dogs ... again.

  3. Oh Shirley, that is so sad. Losing a dog via car was always tramatic for me as a child (I don't have pets now.)

  4. Hi Shirley,
I know how you feel.I had 3 Irish Setters named Penny,Big Red and Skarlet. We had Penny first. She was great! But one winter day she got ran over by our nieghbor from down the road. I new him from school. My dad gave Big Red away when I wasn't home.I was away with Donna and Mom. That hurts even more because he did it to be mean. Atleast I knew the people that got him. Skarlet got ran over TWICE!!
Once by Ron (Yes my hubby) when we were dating. Skarlet got better. And I married Ron.After 4 years of being married we built our house. I was going to have Skarlet live with us but she got hit on the street where my parents house is.
They become family to us.And when they get taken away it's like losing one of your family member.
You have the memories, no matter how short or long time you've had them.
I'm sorry for going on like this, but, I thought it might help. I hope it did. Sorry that you all had to go through this.
God giveth. And God taketh away.
    It doesn't seem fare.
    I love you guys.
    Take Care & God bless,
    Lucy Guzzi (PA)
    P.S. Hugs for everyone.

  6. Oh, Shirley, I'm so sorry! Dogs are such a special part of our families. I don't know how I would be able to handle losing Kenzie. I'm so sorry for your loss.
