We are in the midst of all-star baseball season and having a blast. Hadden’s team is playing very well and we are hoping they do well in the district and area tournaments to get to play at state. The state tournament is on our home field this year, so it would be great fun to play in it and to also move on to the world series. One game at a time.
Doesn’t he look sharp and grown up!! This is my favorite uniform that they wear.
They took 1st place at a tournament last weekend – great job, boys! I just have to say that these are the sweetest group of 8-year old boys that I have seen in a long time. I love that Hadden is part of a team where the boys are encouraging each other so well.
Hadden was in a bit of a hitting slump on Saturday and Sunday, so on Monday, we encouraged him to memorize 2 Timothy 1:7 “God didn't give us a spirit that makes us weak and fearful. He gave us a spirit that gives us power and love. It helps us control ourselves.”
Monday night were the final games for the tournament, and with God’s help, Hadden pulled himself out of the slump and was hitting well again. He earned the game ball for the first game and we are very proud of him! We are praying that he continues to lean on God’s strength and do his very best and bring God the glory.
